Using DermGem

Application

  • 1.
    Debride and prepare the wound using best wound care practices.
  • 2.
    Remove DermGEN™ from its package.
  • 3.
    Measure wound and trim DermGEN™ to match wound size.
  • Place DermGEN™ with the dermal side in contact with the woundbed.
  • Use a dressing with a non-contact layer and moisture control over DermGEN™.
  • Use effective off-loading such as total contact casting or appropriate orthotic.
